St. Aidan’s book club runs at lunch time every Monday.
We welcome students from all years and of all reading abilities. Some students prefer to listen to the books instead and we welcome that! We get a new book every 2-3 weeks, but they are not homework. Rather, this is a safe space for students to come together and explore and discuss new themes, and hopefully foster a love of reading along the way!
This year, we visited Trinity College to work with authors, and hosted Kathleen Murray in our school who helped us with creative writing.
